1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school for the most part. I am a sophomore attending and so far it’s been good. Although I have had some very strange issues with the special education classes. A few of my classes are near them and I also know someone taking special education. First of all I have seen some of the special education students locked in a classroom by themselves. Which is already crazy! I also have seen multiple instances of special education students lost around the bathrooms and halls with no teachers helping them get around. And my final straw is when me and numerous people in the bathrooms saw a special education student climbing under the bathroom stalls with no teacher or councilor to help guide him . 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTHIS IS THE WROST SCHOOL EVER!!! I’m a student at Morton, but this is worst school you can bring your child. This school will strip away their innocence, and your child will come home crying possibly everyday, some may still come to this school but this is what you should watch out for if you truly care about you children(s). There’s a fight everyday at this school, they even have a page about it on Instagram. Random people you don’t even know would want to fight you/ or start rumors about you. I’ve tried to leave a review about this school on google and my review got deleted. The staff here don’t care about your education because they are scared themselves. They don’t care about your health, feelings nor safety, they just want you in a school to get a government check. also This school is not for the weak, because if your scared of getting in drama or fights please do not come here. The first semester of this school was great, but after first semester everything went down hill. I’ve started getting so many threats about people we’re gonna jump me/fight me. People even started finding my number and texting me. I’ve told the counselor, the principal, and assistant principal, my parents have even come up to the school to complain, they try to flip the situation on you. "We have all walks of life in this neighborhood and everyone is really friendly. Although people don’t walk often, grocery stores, bars and shops are all within walking distance, which we love. "

"Neighbors watch out for each other. Real mix of ages, grandma on one side, young family with kids on the other. Bus very close. Feel safe walking. Shopping within 1 mile. "
