3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot very happy with this school. My daughter has complained of bullying for 2 years now. A student pulled my kids hair, slapped her, and dug her nails into her skin. Surprisingly no video coverage of these incidents, nor did they bring it to my attention. I had to contact her teacher for confirmation who admitted to witnessing these things. Just recently my daughter retaliated and was suspended. The bully who has bullied several students was not suspended when she placed her hands on my child initially. Instead they punished my kid and made her play in certain areas of the playground. Absolutely disgusting! They try to avoid conflict instead of doing the right thing. When I was called to the school after my daughter retaliated, they wanted me to be upset at my child. I asked Mrs Larsen what my daughters punishment was, and she could not tell me as she was still thinking about it. After they made me watch the video (hmmmm now they have video of my kid), I still did not show any empathy for the bully, all of a sudden Mrs Larsen had decided suspension was best. Had I went there and pretended to be mad at my kid for finally snapping, things would of went different. They protect the bullies and punish the good ones who complain of being bullied. We are switching schools immediately! Steer clear!Other Review2y ago - Morton Magnet Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTHIS IS THE WROST SCHOOL EVER!!! I’m a student at Morton, but this is worst school you can bring your child. This school will strip away their innocence, and your child will come home crying possibly everyday, some may still come to this school but this is what you should watch out for if you truly care about you children(s). There’s a fight everyday at this school, they even have a page about it on Instagram. Random people you don’t even know would want to fight you/ or start rumors about you. I’ve tried to leave a review about this school on google and my review got deleted. The staff here don’t care about your education because they are scared themselves. They don’t care about your health, feelings nor safety, they just want you in a school to get a government check. also This school is not for the weak, because if your scared of getting in drama or fights please do not come here. The first semester of this school was great, but after first semester everything went down hill. I’ve started getting so many threats about people we’re gonna jump me/fight me. People even started finding my number and texting me. I’ve told the counselor, the principal, and assistant principal, my parents have even come up to the school to complain, they try to flip the situation on you. So please do not send your child here there’s much better options.Student Review8mo ago - Omaha Northwest Magnet High School
