2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy friend said that she almost got ISS for a week just for accidentally dropping and pen on a teachers shoe and it left a itty bitty mark. Also there is no privacy in the bathroom when I walked in to pee boys kept looking through the cracks in the stalls.Plus they need to make sure that sudents are not s*xually active because I saw some boys acting really inappropriate. But honestly my teachers have not been that bad.Student Review3mo ago - East Rowan High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI taught at this school. They try but the minority students are conditioned to be subservient to the majority. Comments have been made like token black students and racial slurs can be found written all over the school. Not an inclusive environment.Other Review1y ago - Granite Quarry Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have transferred our child from the catholic school in town to Granite Quarry, and I have to say that we are pleased with the change. Everyone in Granite Quarry is very nice, and the principal is always willing to listen. My child has not experienced any bullying, which was one reason why we changed schools. Many people think the worst about public schools, but honestly, we do not see a difference in academics. Granite Quarry has allowed our child to excel and work at her own pace The only difference is the money spent for private education, which in our opinion was not worth it. If you want your kids to excel you have to be involved in his/her education.Parent Review8y ago - Check out schools near 211 W Bank St.

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for three years. The people are friendly and the place is safe. There are some problems however, like inadequate public transportation, as well as a lack of opportunities for younger people. I also wish the city would have been more progressive. Still, if you like a slower paced lifestyle, where people take the time to say “hello,” this might be a great place to settle. "
