4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience in this school was very bad. Me and my sister both went to this school and had to deal with a lot of drama and bullying. The administration is overworked and lethargic and kids run around bratty and unchecked. There were multiple shooting and bomb threats in the past three years. The kids are terrible and the teachers are apathetic. I would only recommend this school to people with very tough skin or people who are wealthy and athletic because those are the people who are favored by administration.Other Review1y ago - Trinity High

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageYour child will get what they want out of Trinity High School. If they want to excel, they will find all the resources they need to make that happen. If they want to slack off, they will be allowed to make that choice. This is a middle and lower income school, the building is run down, it is short on resources and they don't have the selection of courses of a bigger, higher income school. However, the student body is very diverse with Hispanic and SW & SE Asian students. There are not a lot of Black students, but there are enough that they don't stand out. At one point, several years ago, there was some bullying but that seems to have mostly gone by the wayside. For the most part the kids seem to get along and aren't very clique-y. The honors and AP teachers are engaged. The standard classes seem to have some teacher burnout. There have been several retirements in the past couple of years so I expect that to get better with younger, fresher teachers coming in. There has been a continuing issue with foreign language teachers, some years they can't even offer both French and Spanish, it is very concerning. The art, band and theater programs are all top notch. There are not many clubs, but not enough of the kids are interested in clubs to make it happen and with so many kids riding the bus, they couldn't join clubs even if they wanted to. The counselors are accessible, engaged and knowledgeable.I have sent several kids through this school. One barely graduated because her head wasn't in the right place and she couldn't get along with one of her teachers who then wouldn't give help when needed or let me know that there was a problem. But the drop out prevention counselor stepped in and she managed to graduate on time. The other kids all went on to very good, competitive 4 year colleges. So like I said at the beginning, kids will get out of it what they want to get out of it.Other Review2y ago - Braxton Craven Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHalf the staff was alright but in places like the band and art room was were raw talent was shown. Great job to them. There is much room for improvement however.Student Review5y ago - Randolph Early Colle

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent I believe this school provides a great opportunity for my child to grow & blossom into a confident and successful student. The smaller classes, challenging content, and the opportunity to take college classes while still in high school brought out the drive in my child to excel. I knew it was there, it just needed the right environment to bring it out. The teachers are excellent. I just wish that this school had been around when I was in high school.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 305 Kingsfield Forest Dr.
