4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent experience from K through 5th grade. The building was still the original from the early sixties, but the engagement of the teachers and the outstanding principal Dr.Bergman( who greeted every morning all kids by their name, all 600 plus of them!), made up plenty for the deficits in the building. This school building is currently under reconstruction and promises to emerge better suited for it's pupils in the near future. The school's teachers established discipline, guided the dress code, corrected interruptive behaviour. Outstanding teachers were Mrs Francisco in reading and grammar, Mr. B in math, and the teacher for the academically gifted, Mr.Harmon.Parent Review4mo ago - Western Guilford High School
