4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am shocked to see negative reviews of Alderman Elementary. We love this school--the teachers, staff, principal, and community. It is small enough for our son to feel known but big enough for him to feel stretched academically and socially. The teachers seem to love working there and are devoted to making students' experience great, even during a pandemic. The principal is communicative and helpful. I am an educator myself and am highly skeptical of the test-based number rating system on this site (I came here because of a conversation with a friend on this topic), and I hope that anyone considering sending their kids to Alderman will look further than this website to make their decision.Parent Review3y ago - Guilford Middle School
