4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've had many problems with this school. When speaking to the staff, I've been told, 'this isn't a good school.' The student body is very aggressive. Kids will be kids, but the little ones at Brightwood cannot keep their hands to themselves. I don't feel much effort is made to provide students with the appropriate means to be successful. My child will NOT be returning!!Parent Review10y ago - Northeast Guilford Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI spent 30 mins in the office first thing in the morning before the start of the day when students were arriving waiting to speak to the principle to have my sons classes changed. During that time I was horrified at what I had seen! Between the interaction with students and teachers, the students throwing up gang signs to each other students, to cursing in front of the stuff and no one doing anything about it. I will be moving my child out of this school at all cost.Parent Review6y ago - Northeast Guilford High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can't really comment on ratings older than 5 years, but today this school is a nurturing and academically enriching environment for the students. Thanks in large part to Principal Williams, who is a strong positive role model and force for inclusion and excellence. Awesome job...keep up the good work!Parent Review9y ago - Check out schools near 1934 Chapel Brook Way.
