8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs an 8th grader, this school is not very friendly. Bullying is a problem in this school. Most teachers are friendly, although some aren't as nice as others. The current principal Ms. Prescott is not the best, she has enforced more rules on this school and my parents and I did not even receive an email regarding the new regulations. This feels very wrong and I am not happy with this inconvenience. I can't wait to leave this school and move on to a different high school, or hopefully an early college program. As I said before, the teachers are friendly, but many probably have to work more than one job to afford essential needs for their lives. In short, I do not recommend this school for a student who cares about their academic and social experiences in school. The school can't even hire its own janitors to clean up. The staff scrutinize the females for dress code violations that are borderline ridiculous. "Fantastic area for families! I have three kids and have been here since 2014 with no intention to leave! Pool a few blocks away is affordable family fun in the summer. Raleigh museums just a hop skip and jump away!"
