9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI loved this school when I went here. The teachers were terrific, cared if you came in, and were sad. They had great teaching methods that made me happy to learn. The principal was terrific too and helped the teachers by bringing them food and drinks. The Announcements would tell the birthdays and it made you feel really special.Other Review11mo ago - West Forsyth High

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent all-around experience. Outstanding principal, high quality and high character teachers, and a wide offering of extracurriculars. The numbers speak for themselves: West is the top performing high school in the area, year after year.Parent Review1y ago - Meadowlark Middle

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has its ups and downs like most schools however this school need to get its staff and students together as they have a HUGE bullying and violence issue and many teachers come to school with a negative approach to their job which does not help whatsoever. Administration and leadership is failing mostly because of the amount of student issues however it is also theirs, times are rough however that is not an excuse to neglect your job and ignore the problem.Other Review2y ago - Virtual Academy

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI taught at this school for many years and have nothing but positive things to say about the students, parents, and staff members. I am filled with pride when I think about my time at the school and miss teaching there very much. The students are challenged academically and held to high standards, but they generally rise to and exceed these standards. The college professors in particular will hold the kids to account, and it shows in their development both as students and individuals. If you want your child to develop a strong work ethic, feel supported by both their peers and teachers, and grow into thoughtful, respectful, and diligent individuals, send them to this school! Please be mindful that this school is not for everyone. Students will be enrolled in college courses immediately and this has proven to be difficult for some individuals. The school also does not offer after-school sports (students can still participate, just at their neighborhood school), however there is an abundance of clubs on various days that almost all students participate in. Parents also need to understand that micromanaging their students' coursework is a no-go here. College professors sometimes outright refuse to speak with parents as they only communicate with the students themselves. Don't be turned off by this - it simply encourages the students to learn how to speak to their professors when they need help (questions, extensions, etc). In my opinion, this is one of the most important life skills that is taught at the school. That being said, parents are still a HUGE part of the Early College family and are encouraged to volunteer whenever possible. The school provides ample opportunities for families to get involved and participate in their kids' high school experience. I truly loved my experience here. I am so proud of my students and I had so much fun watching them develop into incredible, thoughtful, intelligent, and creative individuals.Teacher Review7mo ago - Frank Morgan Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe had two kids at this school over three years. The only good experience we had was with the Kindergarten teachers, presumably because they have TA help. The other teachers all seemed tired, I engaged, and like they had too many kids. After Kindergarten we received zero communications about our kids other than progress reports. If you are looking for a mediocre experience and average tree scores this is for you. It’s not awful, it’s just not great. The Imprints after school program seems over crowded and the teachers yell at the kids. Mine hated Imprints.Parent Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 1501 Carters Grove Rd.
