5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think our Elementary Administrator is doing a wonderful job I believe our teachers are well educated, kind, and do their best to motivate and educate. Our student-teacher ratio (on the web site) states 10 to one. At present, each kindergarten class has 30 students to one teacher. My granddaughter's teacher is awesome. As good as she is, it is not fair to expect her to reach all thirty children ages 5-6. I realize they have aids to assist but as wonderful as aids are, they are not teachers. Kindergarten is a child's first school learning experience. With this many students per class, they have a high risk of missing crucial learning experiences that they are expected to know to begin first grade. Also our new Superintendent seems to have very effectively blocked parental involvement ( which we as teachers, have worked so hard to welcome that area of communmication).under the guise of safety. I am as concerned as anyone about the safety of our children, but blocking parents from helping participate in their child's activities and parties is going too far.Other Review10y ago - Check out schools near 907d Hwy #60.
