I attend every parent-teacher conference, email, have one on one talks with the teachers and other staff and everyone I’ve encountered have been very pleasant and helpful. The teachers really want to teach and guide and not just show up for work. "I have been in this area for almost 6 years and love it. You are at the hub of 3 great little neighborhoods: Charondolet, Holly Hills and Dutch Town. How can you go wrong! You are ten minutes from downtown or south county. These quaint neighborhoods always have festivals, concerts and events in the parks as well as huge community yardsales and events. There is a neighborhood watch group that keeps you up-to-date via email on anything that might be going on in town. Minutes from multiple parks, shopping and anything you could want! City living without the hustle and bustle of the city."

"The neighborhood of Carondolet is charming, but can be shady. Most people just want a decent place to live and try to take care of their property the best they can. The schools are ridiculous, not great for school age children. Casino business is pushing the neighborhood to clean it up a bit. I lived at this particular house and while it was truly loved, it was just too much work for us. The place was vandalized within 2 weeks of us moving, right down to the pipes, cabinets, and windows...how sad. But I have to say, when we went on vacation, nothing was ever bothered. Never had issue with our cars either. On a positive note, the YMCA facility and the park are phenomenal! Small shopping center with Schnucks, Lowe's, BK, Starbucks, Great Clips, etc. is within walking distance for anyone willing. Local clinic is convenient and clean. That being said, it's South City."
