The amount of care and consideration for transitioning children is significant at North. What is normally an awkward and uncomfortable age of adolescence is surrounded in positivity and support. The enthusiasm the Principal exudes is reflected in every teacher below her! I cannot say enough good things about how these educators help kids fall in love with learning and lean into school at a time when many would pull away. Wonderful communication and support all around!

I went to school here between 2015-2019I was bullied in middle school and a little in HighSchool my principal and teachers weren’t actually involved just small meetings. My kid brother also attended about a year or two later he was bullied and had fights in the bathroom almost on a daily basis. The whole dynamic of this school is sickening and has a bit of racism.

The current administration does not support any part of the parents or family’s goals of pushing students to thrive. Decisions are clearly made about our children with no input from parents, and made to better service the school’s needs and desires. The students are simply the vehicle for the staff to achieve their quotas and tracking parabolas. The parents are hardly allowed to see what occurs behind those closed doors. There is also a COMPLETE lack of professionalism in the hallways. Admin wears ragged sweatshirts, teachers wear everything from stilettos to crocs, there is no example being set for the students. Poor experience all around!
