4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSecond year for my daughter at BCMS. Impressed so far. In particular, the Orchestra program is superb. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Mandarin Chinese is a foreign language option for students.Parent Review6mo ago - Lee's Summit North High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA great school for all. The administration is doing well in most categories except fight prevention (one day, there were about 5 fights, and many students and staff members were hurt). I truly believe that they should have harsher consequences for starting fights because clearly students are not deterred by the consequences. Other than that, the school does an amazing job in academics and activities. Most teachers are genuinely rooting for your success and are consistently passionate about what they teach, especially the higher-level teachers. As a student of color, I didn't feel alone during my time there.Other Review6mo ago - Cedar Creek Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to go to this school, and it was a nice environment. There were a handful of rude kids, but overall most kids were nice. Although, many people got bullied and were afraid to tell anyone. I did Online Academy for a year, and I was getting stalked and bullied from a girl in a different school. She found every platform I was on, and tried to contact me with serval accounts. The school did nothing about this.Other Review2y ago - Miller Park Center

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers bully students, no homework, Fridays are movie and pizza. not a lot of learning going on and students are behind but continue to be progressed to the next grade level. Students yell and scream then strip off clothes and twerk . this place should be investigated and shut down.Other Review2y ago - Check out schools near 705 NW Eagle Ridge Cir.

"Most people have large back yards. If you are going to meet your neighbors, you’ll have to bump into them while jogging or in their back yards. Most people have garages and don’t go outside. "

"It’s pretty, calm and quiet mostly. Kids will be kids. Don’t be deceived because most parents here have the financial resources to overcome any issues. There are limited options for those who are less fortunate. There is also a high expectation for parent involvement in schools, considering most parents work."

"Tough on Pitbull breed. Few dog parks which are nice. Animal control people that I have been in contact with are very professional. My dog barks a lot and had a complaint. They were understanding and just asked me to handle it. If they pick up a loose dog they will make every attempt to try to get dog home rather than straight to pound. Scan chips, call tag #s, etc."
