5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI come From Kearney School District. And I was worried that it was going to be hard transition for my daughter Valerie. The teachers are amazing. Professional, patient, passionate about helping their students, and they keep me updated with everything that is going on at school. 5 starsParent Review6mo ago - Meadowbrook Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMeadowbrook is a wonderful Elementary school safe in the heart of Gladstone. The teachers and staff are kind, caring and compassionate. My child is finishing up her 5th grade year at MBES and we will miss them tremendously. The PTA at this school does so much for the students, I'll miss them too. In 5th grade your students are given an option to do Strings classes. Only 1% of school districts in the entire country offer strings classes anymore. The school district is also putting a lot of money back in to the building (as well as all other schools). I love this district. They care about the kids.Parent Review2y ago - Winnetonka High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSome of the teachers act like they would rather be working a fast food job than working here. Som expect so much from every single student when In reality, not every student learns the same speed. Some teachers give out so much work and get mad when something isn’t done in time.Student Review1y ago - Check out schools near 6300 N Woodland Ave.

"Dog owners would love that most places will rent to families with large or multiple dogs. They might object to the city wide leash laws, but as a non dog owner who uses public spaces, I love it! Also you must pick up after your pets as well."

"Nice little city within the Kansas City metro area but with out the 1% salary tax. Also you have to pay for your own trash disposal but I like the fact that I get a choice of vendors and am not limited to 2 trash bags as others in kc are."

"Neighbors here are extremely nosy. If you have dogs they will only be friendly upon arrival. After a few months of living there..be ready to have city notes on your door about your dogs. Dogs are like children they go outside to play and they happen to get loud. You settle them down, sush them but like children they go back to playing. My dogs are older so I can’t even imagine if I had younger pups. "

"In the summers, we have community "Theater in the Park" productions at Oak Grove Park. There are various free concerts held in Gladstone square during warmer seasons, and it's converted into a skating rink during Christmas time. In October, there's the Gladfest with rides, craft tents, local vendors and businesses, and food. "
