2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child struggled while attending this school last year not because of teachers/staff but fellow students. The teachers and administrators were responsive when concerns/questions were raised. We felt our child was challenged appropriately with class work but some struggle with all resources being electronic (no physical textbooks/reference books). Class learning time was often interrupted by disruptive students, taking time from those who wanted to learn. The district is working to reduce suspensions/out of class time by keeping “butts in seats” but ultimately those who want to learn are suffering because of this. Unfortunately our child was bullied most of the year, even with multiple interventions, so we are thankful to be attending a different school environment this year.Parent Review1y ago - Mccluer High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had a great time attending in this school. Having graduated in 2010, I was involved in a plethora of after school activities. The majority of teachers that I had (honors classes) really cared about the subjects that they taught and wanted their students to learn. They really cared about us, as well. Myself and my friends really made some great friendships with some our teachers. Clubs I was involved in at McCluer were Latin Dance Club, Key Club (volunteering), Current Events Club (in which students got together to discuss the goings-on in the world), Drama Club, International Thespian Society, National Honor Society, and Club International (in which we immersed ourselves in the various cultures of the world.Other Review8y ago

"It’s not unique at all, there is nothing special about it. There are too many children that do not know how to behave and the crime rate is really high. I’ve heard that there are a lot of car thief’s. As soon as my lease is up I’m moving out."

"I live here now for 2.5 years ND I love it to be honest the atmosphere here feels completely different from other areas around. People stick to themselves mostly a few will be friendly enough to give a wave or small communication,but very quiet area, hardly hear really loud music or people. "
