2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTo call this school okay is a joke. The biggest joke. The students are horrible. There are constant fights. The school had to count fight-free days. This shouldn't be a thing. Like we apparently can't go 15 days (incentive) without fights. There are bullies yet what does the school do? NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. The food is bad. I just had the toughest cold "Hamburger" It had weirdest looking cheese. It looked like melted plastic. Dryest thing. Ketchup couldn't save it. The school had all students in the gym, trying to get us to have better scores for the mp test. They said something about how we need to show how we are a good school. They asked if the school was good or smth. I only heard no. The teachers are stressed. Having to help a bunch of students who will ever listen. Trying their best for the students. I feel like he’s not doing a good job with the kids. I hate my daughter has to attend this school. My daughter was bullied and picked on for be a smart student.It’s fighting at this school almost everyday. This school is over crowded. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur kids have attended McCurdy Elementary from April 2023 to current October 2023. From the very start our kids were coming home in tears. They have been bullied relentlessly, they have been physically assaulted, threaten with serious harm and have received no genuine support from the administration. The only time they “care” is when I threaten them with getting the school board and superintendent involved.Student who are physically violent get no real consequences. There is a ZERO tolerance for bullying yet student are not being suspended or expelled for physical violence or extremely inappropriate behavior, such as exposing themselves to other students. Of the few school our kids have attended we have never experienced a school more irresponsible, inconsiderate or unprofessional. This school and the family of these children need to be investigated. I am disgusted with this school and staff in every single way.Parent Review6mo ago

"This is one of the best areas to live as far as a commute goes. I rarely see any traffic going south or west (St. Charles) in the mornings. Returning home in the evening is the same. The opposite direction is always a nightmare. The only issue is at Lindbergh, north of 270 in the evenings. However MoDOT is redoing the entire Lindbergh, Dunn and 270 over/underpass. "

"florissant's only means of public transportation are busses. the metro link station is about 10 miles from here so you must have a car or take a bus to it. "

"The kids on the street all play outside, like kickball,tag, basketball they play all day long go from house to house like the old days, us parents sit outside and talk and watch the kids play. Love my neighbors and neighborhood."
