8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis entire district is a joke. They suspend elementary kids for even talking about play guns, yet high schoolers keep guns and knives in their cars. They literally schedule the school year around hunting season. The teachers teach to their personal beliefs and not actual facts. The middle school principal has been known to scream at and belittle students. The few minority students are made fun of based on stereotypes. There seems to be a culture of ignoring problems rather than addressing them in appropriate and timely ways. They are woefully unprepared and unable to handle many situations, especially students with needs who fall outside of "typical". There is favoritism to families that have lived in the area for long periods of times, and even the parents separate themselves into cliques. The nepotism in hiring of staff and support has lead to a bubble of closed ideas and lack of forward thinking vision.
