9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagemy child attended maplegrove elementary and it was horrible he's in third grade. They wouldn't allow him to use a restroom so he ended up having a bowel movement in his pants and they didn't even realize it had happened but best believe the other kids realized they offered no solution and said because they didn't see or hear it it didn't happen this is a horrible school. He has also been bullied but again they said since they haven't seen it it hasn't happened. He sticks up for himself and because of that he has to pull his card and loose his recess. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated here and have a step child that has gone since Kindergarten and is now a Senior (not through my decision). The school is huge and combines several different elementary, middle schools into the High School from all over the Jefferson County area. The high school has multiple principals assigned by your last name and each has their own rules. Not all kids are treated the same. The Senior has struggled and at times failing classes here. "it simple small town with lot of simple living old style people. easy simple living life loving old style traditions and hard work and good hearted. true not all but alot. I've lived here since left city years ago and I love it. Hard to explain because of the feeling and of course depends on personality but its perfect for me and my kids. we love it. small town know people help each other hard workers and old fashion values. I love it and truly want to stay close to it because of these reasons. its not just a living wonder its in my heart and attaches with who I am and how I want my kids to be and our lifestyle. true its not for everyone but I think its wonderful!"

"Just local venues bars restaurants and shopping. Can walk to cedar hill park and swim in river or walk to dairy kreme and get some ice cream or fried food. "
