4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Academies set up at this school are wonderful. Students can start classes in specific areas like Engineering, Biomedical, and Computer Science as early as middle school. They pick a specific track or academy with advisors and a four-year plan to come out ahead of the game for college. Students can take plenty of AP and college credit classes. There is a wide variety of extracurriculars- swimming, esports, robotics, football, track, etc. The students can keep track of assignments and grades online and even do most of the assignments online. Parents can also keep track of what's going on with their grades online. For a smaller district, Belton is really doing a lot to keep up with the times. Students can even get welding and construction experience and certification if they aren't planning on a four-year college. My kids have had a great experience with supportive staff and great classes. I'm glad we decided to settle down here.Parent Review1y ago - Mill Creek Upper Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love how this school only has two grades. The whole school is designed to support only fifth and sixth graders. There was a lot of parent involvement.Parent Review3y ago - Kentucky Trail Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll three of my children have attended Kentucky Trail Elementary and I have not been disappointed whatsoever. All three children have been given the care and consideration needed by their teachers and KT staff to make their learning experiences excellent. We think highly of the principal, Jeff Levy, too. It will be a sad day when my last child "graduates" from KT.Parent Review10y ago - Belton Middle School/Freshman Center

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has really turned around. There used to be a lot of behavior problems and indifference at the school. Now I am seeing a big difference. The administration there these past few years have been doing great. I see they even won a national award for creating an environment of character. I would highly recommend this school.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 7409 E 160th Ter.

"Belton is a nice area that isn't too busy or overpopulated. You can still get around town pretty easy without a lot of traffic. The schools are good and overall the Belton/Raymore area is family-friendly. There are plenty of conveniences, but the one thing I wish there were more of is decent restaurants. There are a lot of fast food places, but not really much for sit down places with any kind of atmosphere. The parks and rec do a great job and the community center is really nice."
