5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible experiences with this school. Discrimination were my daughter that is black was denied a snack in front of the class while others got a snack. Staff constantly tried to brainwash her and put their own way of parenting in her brain. They also do not give homework so parents would not know what their child is working on. I had to send several emails requesting that. No cultural competency / no professional boundaries and no respect for families privacy. Go straight to the department of education with complaints. The school district will only say have a meeting with the school and no progress will happen. I regret putting my daughter in this school. However, the administration is a complete disaster with very little care given to students. They refer to themselves as babysitters and assume every child is there to give trouble. If there was a new front office/administrators, this rating would go up to at least a 4 and would recommend. When the front office staff doesn't show respect towards any of the students, it's hard to have an effective learning environment.Parent Review2y ago

"Lived in neighborhood for a decade. Great neighbors - coffee socials for women, annual BBQ for all. Folks offer to help and look out for each other. Clean, well kept yards. Safe, community feel. Highly recommended. Miss it."

"This is a quiet, safe family neighborhood. A few retired couples live in the area. Neat, clean and orderly neighborhood. No loud parties. A beautiful creek runs behind the homes and leads to Alimagnet Park. Playground, fishing area are a few blocks away. 20 minutes from Mall of America and 30 minutes to downtown St Paul. Minnesota Zoo 15 minutes away. "

"I have lived in this neigborhood for 9 years and my child has grown up here. Great place to raise a family! Schools are excellent and family activities are great, many parks, sports programs, and facilities year round. Very safe and quiet. Very close to highways and airport (easy commute) but still feels like you are living in the country."
