    "My particular neighborhood has none of this. The villages of Essex Park sucks. I am moving soon. If you mean the community as in the town of Rochester, yes there are many events to do. Especially in the summer. Could be more though; the culture here is pretty bland. "

There are grocery stores, restaurants, gas station, coffee shops,toy store, school, hospital and parks all within walking distance of 1 mile or less. It is the greatest location in Rochester, we love living here! "

Concerts, museums, events, galleries, bars, etc. I can walk around and hop in a shop, run into friends, eat at a nice restaurant all in an afternoon! I love it. I don’t live in downtown though. I live in echo park. I even walk from echo park to downtown a lot. The east side of LA is close and connected "
