Description

This is a cozy second floor 2 bedroom near Lyn-Lake. The bedrooms both have large closets and are about the same size. The living space has a charming exposed brick wall and built in shelves along the staircase. The heat and central air work great. New dishwasher in the kitchen that was installed last year. There is a free washer and dryer in the basement that is shared with the other unit. The yard is fenced, and there is a screened in porch that is shared.

This apartment has a great location. It is within a short walk of many restaurants and green spaces. There is great access to busses and the green way. An Aldi is located about 3 blocks away.

I am listing this apartment for my landlord, Marty, because I am wanting to break my lease. I bought a home sooner then I expected to after renewing the lease in April. Part of our agreement is that I'd find new renters. The lease is 12 months. There is a $50 applicant fee per applicant. Income requirement is 2X rent. No criminal evictions. The deposit is equal to one months rent. One pet is welcome with a $150 non refundable deposit. Ternate pays electric, and gas. Street parking.

    "Pretty much anywhere in the neighborhood is within walking distance to restaurants, stores, and other entertainment (such as MIA, theaters, parks, etc.). Transit and biking are easy. There are many old buildings mixed with other buildings from throughout the past 100 years to new ones today. The makeup is pretty diverse, mostly renter-occupied, and the largest age group is mid-late 20's."

    "My main complaint is parking and property crime. I think both are part of living in an urban neighborhood. It's very walkable, great food, shops and parks nearby. Neighbors on my block all know each other and are helpful and friendly. I'm near children's theater, MCAD, MIA, eat street, it's great. I don't love the neighborhood elementary school, my kids go to an arena charter, as do most of the kids we know in the area."
