It's a unique school in that it is diverse, but so accepting. There is a reason the school was nationally recognized for it's positive messages to students and families. People are so friendly. Every time I have walked in the building kids make eye contact, smile and if I look lost they help me. I love that I continually have doors held for me by these students. "people walk their dogs all the time in our neighborhood. There are parks and sidewalks nearby to walk our dogs. There's even a 20 + acre dog park about 2 miles from my home or we can go off leash. My dog lives a very happy life in this neighborhood."

"National Night Out, is one of our community events. Where neighbors from the neighborhood come together to meet, greet, and eat! There are games for the kids, good tasting food, and fun. And the kids aren't the only ones having fun. The adults are mingling with one another, getting to know there neighbors and neighborhood. It's just a lovely time to get out and Mingle!"

"I love seeing all the wildlife everyday. we've seen deer, foxes, woodpeckers, hawks, bald eagles. we love all of the wetlands and ponds in our neighborhood. our street has several families with various aged children and they all feel very free to play outside and go to each other's homes. the neighbors are extremely friendly and helpful.
