4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNJH has been about as fantastic an experience as one could ask for in a junior high. At a tough age for kids, Becky Melville and her team have fostered a creative, cooperative, and positive environment. There are a plethora of options and elective classes, and the music and art programs are fantastic. There is room for exploration and growth for everyone at North. I am grateful for all the opportunities given my child during her tenure at NJH. It is a school I'd recommend to any parent looking for solid academics and strong foundations. As an IB MYP school, North embraces the IB principles and makes everyone feel welcome.Parent Review6y ago - Eisenhower Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrom the moment you enter the building, you know that this place cares for your child. The staff meeting the kids at the doors are always smiling and welcoming the kids. They greet the students by name. The teachers are top notch. Teacher Ming Yang and Pang Yang from the Chinese immersion are excellent. The ancillary teaching staff who help the kids on a daily basis are very friendly. The bus drivers seem to have a frequent turnover but nevertheless efficient. Even the staff at the front desk are very kind. Principal Melissa Ness is very responsive and involved. We had a problem at the beginning of the school year which she helped us take care of and didn't recur ever since. She is very honest, approachable and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Eisenhower Elementary School. My daughter is always excited to go to school. She loves her teachers and classmates. She enjoys learning Chinese and Math. We enjoy volunteering to school events and activities as a family.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 504 Oak Ridge Pl.
