N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am dissappointed overall with public education as expectations seem low and the system is bogged down with regulation. However, our experience with Southwest has been positive. The kindergarten teacher there was fantastic and my son wanted to go each day!Parent Review12y ago - Grand Rapids Senior High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has a math / science teacher that is horrible. The former high school hockey coach and the girls softball coaches are VERY religious and bring religion to the ice / field. For whatever reason the school management doesn't do anything about the religion issue. Religion has no business in public schools and the school management should resign! The school does have some good teachers but the religious issue needs to be dealt with!Other Review6y ago - Robert J. Elkington Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe feel so blessed to be apart of isd 318. We were previously in a district in the suburbs of the cities. The kids in isd 318 have so many amazing opportunities that were not offered down there. We have been here for 5 years now, and I have nothing but great things to say. My kids are excited to go to school everyday, they are involved in a lot of extracurricular activities and are thriving. We have never had an issue with staff or fairness. Their test scores are great. And the teachers are always welcoming to questions or helping out when we need extra help on something. We had one issue with bullying a couple years ago and the staff was quick to shut it down. Overall, I would highly recommend this district.Parent Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 103 SW 4th St.
