4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDenfeld has been wonderful for my child. When my child started there three years ago, his grades were not that great. Through the inspiration of the teachers and staff, I watched my child soar! Not only are their grades almost at a 3.9 (taking AP courses) but my child is also happy almost every day. In addition, the other students are very supportive of each other. If you're thinking of sending your child here, I would say this: in a time when so many kids don't have a lot of social interaction with each other, the Denfeld students really bond together and most likely your child will be able to make long lasting friendships. In addition, the teachers are Denfeld are phenomenal! I really can't say enough about how wonderful they are. My son is always telling me stories of how the teachers interact with their students. They genuinely care about their students; they show them by being present and putting in the extra effort to make sure they feel heard and that they understand the class material. Thank you Denfeld for being a GREAT school!Parent Review4w ago - Myers-Wilkins Elementary

"Live on a quiet dead end, have a wonderful view of the lake and aside from a few bumps, overall have had a pleasant neighbor experience. "

"We’ve lived in the neighborhood 10 years- it’s close to everything. Before having kids we would regularly walk to downtown and canal park. It’s also close to hiking and biking trails. "

"The commute is very nice being that I am very close to Mesaba Ave. The hills and roads are very rough though and aren’t maintained in a good manner. "

"Depending on the time of day, be careful cause sometimes you have some “interesting” people out and about. The sidewalks are also not kept up very well, especially in the wintertime. Otherwise it is a half ways decent area to walk your dog, from my experience that is. "

"I lived in this neighborhood several years ago. It's conveniently located near downtown and is on the bus line making it easy to get around. "

"I work from home, so there is no need to commute, but it would be a very easy commute to the downtown area etc. "
- Jane H. C.

"Million dollar views with middle class affordability. Hidden gem of Duluth. Watch 4th of July fireworks from a deck, children biking in the street, and parents walking strollers to Enger Park. It's like "Cheers" except everybody knows the name of their neighbor's dog! "
