The school definitely isn’t the most high-end place ever, but the staff do their best to keep up with everything. There’s a wide range of classes to choose from each year, especially after covid, there’s a lot of flexibility when it comes to completion of homework. Now, it’s a public school so I cannot say everything is wonderful, fights do happen, the lunch meals are questionable, and holding kids responsible with passes or getting to class on time isn’t heavily enforced. But the school is overall one of the better public high schools around.

The teachers at this school are great! The new administration, Hagerty, is incompetent. Sudent behaviors are out of control and there is no consequences for negative behaviors. Students that excel and are respectful are ignored. For example, they are the only middle school in the district that doesn't have an academic honors ceremony for 8th grade. This was a quality school with the previous admin, but now out of control.

There are not enough words to describe the awful experiences at this school. It is February and my child has already been assaulted three times this year alone. He was punched in the back of the head and dove into the wall with the front of his head. Two months ago another student slammed his face onto a desk, held him down and screamed in his face outside of the math room. When he returned to tell the teacher she told him he was lying and did not contact me. On the first assault he was punched in the face. Students here are out of control, and the teachers do not call patients to inform them of injuries. I was only contacted on the most recent one because they were concerned about a concussion. Parents have been calling for a removal of the principle whom has a hot temper herself and the district has been refusing. You will see an article about the schools troubles released by the star tribune last summer, if you just google the name of the school.
