2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have been going to Edison since 2018. They entered into Kindergarten and my oldest is now in the 4th Grade. I’m very pleased with the staff. The teachers are really involved in the students lives. They communicate very well and make sure the parents are updated with what is going on. The students took a hard hit once the pandemic hit but i believe the school offered a lot of resources for the students to adjust. They supplied each student with an iPad to take home throughout the school year. The iPads are used to do extra learning activities and it contains it’s own internet. Wayne- Westland have spoiled us with unlimited resources within the community. This school has a new principal and he had big shoes to fill because the last principal was simply phenomenal. He definitely stepped up and even greet the kids outside on the curb each morning!! I love that this school has a No Bullying policy!!Parent Review1y ago - Adlai Stevenson Middle School

"We live on a dirt, dead end street with a great “up north” feel to it. We love that once you are past a few houses you lose the feeling of living in a metropolitan suburb. We are less than 5 minutes from shopping, gas, markets, pharmacy, and a very large high school."

"I don't like it here anymore. Too many nosey people. Kids do not like kids not respecting your yards and chalking on sidewalks . loud music at night sometimes. Speeders up and down these small streets with no regards for kids !!!!!! Parking is horrible !! people parking where ever they choose and blocking trash pickup Trash thrown on yards . and kids riding their bikes on your grass. Going to move"

"no one does events barbecues potlucks or anything !!!! No activities for kids !! No block clubs. Not good lawn care. seniors must take care of lawns. That's hard especially in the winter removing their own snow !!!! Traffic is heavy and driverd speed up and down the very small streets !!!!!! Some parents in the neighborhood don't watch their children when they are out playing. Kids ride on lawns of tenants trying to keep up their lawns with no parent supervision !!!!!!"
