5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf the students forget their lanyard and school ID they are punished by having to be at the end of the lunch line, are not allowed Ala cart items, and have to sit on the stage in front of their peers to eat. The principal picks and chooses who to dress code and who not to. Teachers will be rude to students and make them miss the bus when they are trying to get on the bus to go to eachothers house.Although the teachers my student has had absolutely loves them due to the hard work, good grades, and paying attention.Parent Review8mo ago - Sterling Heights Senior H.S.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf your child needs any type of help or support Sterling is NOT the place for your student. They are not helpful at all. My child has struggled for 3 years and no one said he could or should get a 504 plan even with me reaching out to his counselor. Then it took almost a year for that to happen. Only for them to amend it and not tell me. I kept saying I think there's a learning disability. Then I found out through other channels he could get an IEP so now I'm trying for that -I requested it in December and they still haven't completed it even though legally they have 30 days to do so. Counseling is no help his counselor has too many students according to her. Principal is no more helpful actually suspended my son wouldn't give him a reason then had secretary lie and tell me he was in meeting when he wasn't all to find out he was "mistaken" my son wasn't suspended. Unless you have a student who is fully self sufficient Sterling is not the place to be.Parent Review1mo ago - Jefferson Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWell, my child goes here. She is a 5th grader, and knows about being mature, but absolutely HATES some aspects. First of all, the music teacher. This certain teacher is annoying to her, since if you get one thing wrong, you’re done for. In your grade book/progress report, you’ll get a 4 for getting one question wrong. He’ll also end up picking on you till this is over. Second, I’ll keep this short; the lunch moms. I’m not really certain why she dislikes them, but the ranting she gives me about them seems INTENSE! Now, last one. The academic progress. Currently, what she’s learning is all the same stuff she already learned. She has some of her old friends‘ numbers and they have made much more academic progress. Another thing, they haven’t learned a certain thing, and she gets disliked for it. The thing is basically— how to start your writing. Whenever me and/or her brother check it down, it seems fine!Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 4970 Dickson Dr.
