The kitchen extends to the open dining and living area which makes it perfect for many to be together. For the grab and go you can use the beverage station just off of the kitchen & dining area. There are two separate bathrooms with a couple of stalls each along with shower rooms. Three very roomy bedrooms have double bunk beds and a queen bed in each room. There are two furnaces with central air and the bedrooms also have their own heat & air conditioning units so everyone can be comfortable! Sauna...of course there is a sauna it's the U.P. The entire place has big windows and is nice & bright. Bluetooth speaker system inside and out along with a well lit yard. The interior lighting is set with motion lights. You can extend your entertaining to the outdoors with the picnic table area and firepit. There's also a garden area and a garage for your extras. All of this is only minutes from Munising and conveniently located to access Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, along with many inland lakes and rivers. ATV and Snowmobile heaven here with miles of trails and the large parking area accommodates many trailers. There is so much to do from this central location!

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageteachers are disrespectful...they are abusing there powers as a teacher to control the kids...also hypocrites by using offensive language and then expecting the kids not to use it but when they do punish them....they are lucky they are the only school in manistique cause if we did have another one i would send my kid to a any other school, just not this one...need to show more respect for people and thats for the teachers and staffParent Review14y ago - Emerald Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRevolving door syndrome. We have had multiple principals in a short span leaving no time to develop a positive culture. Covid has taken its toll on a school already stripped of many resources. I would say it’s increased the achievement gap as well. Special education resources haven’t impressed. Behavior has warranted more resources and intervention and lessened learning time. They have some amazing teachers here doing the best they can. I pray they can develop some consistency and right the ship.Parent Review2y ago

"This town is quiet, restful, peaceful and has friendly people, many of whom are involved in the community as volunteers. Although not many, the area has some excellent non-franchise eating places. Although snow sticks around longer than lower Michigan, the weather is mild and it never really gets hot enough for AC. Retirees like this place, but it is difficult to find any jobs. Good place for an entrepreneur or people who work from home."
