4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went to this school for Kindergarten, then came back as a second grader. I was in love with this school then. The office staff and teachers were amazing. Now, I'm figuring out ways to transfer him into another school, even if it means driving out of my way. The secretary is probably the rudest and most unorganized person I have ever met. The teachers don't seem to care at all about what's going on with the kids. Being disappointed is an understatement. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOne of the worst schools my children have attended. My daughter has been verbally, physically and sexually harassed and absolutely nothing has been done. The principal is well aware of everything that has happened and insist that my daughter needs to take responsibility for that has happened.Parent Review10y ago - Check out schools near 200 Astor Ave.

"Lansing has okay public transportation, however I use my car. Depending on the location of your job the commute is usually quick and simple. There is easy access to the expressway and the surface roads move pretty quickly."

"We have access to public transportation, however it is not my preferred method of travel in Lansing. I use my car or bike (could walk as well) to work and groceries. Commute is not long, nor is traffic heavy."

"It’s usually quiet but a cross street about 6 blocks away is used for police & emergency vehicles. Also, though advertised & purchased based on “dog-friendly” needs, is definitely not."
- danny99

"Waldo park, Poxon park and Everett park have made great destinations for our double stroller. The majority of the homes in this neighborhood are well kept and tactfully decorated per season. I had greatly underestimated how important the stroller territory would be before I moved to this area of the city."
