5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHaha, a school that literally bullied me into changing to virtual school.I am a late bloomer, (and a female) so I have been called remarks like flat, short, and everything you can think of. I have reported it and they do an overall good job at handling it, but the 6th graders are ABSOLUTELY WILD, they're constantly fighting, causing drama, making group chats insulting each other, have low self esteem already? great, come to this school to peel through the layers of your skin critiquing little things up to your shoulders just because some kid said they looked weird, it's like chickens in a pen, they will fight for the STUPIDEST reasons. I think the school does a good job with helping the kids with special needs, they're constantly being monitored and helped, but as soon as one of them leaves the room, THE CROWD GOES WILD! They will bully that kid not to their face, but behind their back, it's not funny, but they think it is. Also since I'm considered short, (4'8) I have been tripped numerous times, one leaving me *in tears*, I could hardly walk on my legs for a week without sharp shooting pain in my leg, but the principal dealt with it pretty well. If you have high self esteem and want to keep it, don't go to this school, also the free school lunches are absolutely terrible, I've been served so many burgers that are soggy and light pink on the inside, but hey, it's free. Thank you to Mrs. Holbrook and Mr. Blume for helping me through the rough times at this school, I will forever appreciate you. Please don't send your kid here.Student Review1y ago - Northwest Early Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school and staff helped me with my son that has mixed receptive-expressive language disorder. He learned almost all of his alphabet going 3hrs a day in young 5's. The teachers would let us know what they were using to work with him on certain things and we would do them at home as well. We absolutely Love this school and its staff!Other Review7y ago - Northwest High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think Northwest Elementary needs a lot of work. They are not consistent in how children are reprimanded, 1 child will get a 6 day suspension and the next will get 1 day, both of which did the same act. They do not know how to handle situations at school, so they will send it home to the parents to deal with, a day or two after something has happened. I am very disappointed with Northwest and that is why my child will no longer be attending this poorly run school.Parent Review13y ago - Check out schools near 3305 Hendee Rd.

"This is a great neighborhood to raise children. Schools are excellent. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. It is a safe place to take walks or sit outside. It is also a quiet neighborhood and the wildlife that venture out are amazing to observe! Bunnies and some deer as well as Cardinals and Blue Jays are fun to watch.
