"there are many family friendly spaces but still should be aware of surroundings and especially when visiting Lake Michigan, waters can become very unsafe, make sure kids understand water safety, learn to swim and use proper safety equipment on boats, etc"

"Public transportation is available at many major locations in town such as grocery stores, and shopping areas. Personal transportation is recommended however. Most commutes within town are under 15 minutes, and in heavy traffic an across town trip may take up to 30 minutes. Very friendly small town feel in an already large and growing town. "

"The town has grown but still adorable. I only have lived here full time for almost a year but have been coming to the town since I was a little girl. People are on a whole pretty friendly. The grocery stores if you come from larger areas might be a disappointment due to the lack of selection. That is really the only big downside."

"I see a lot of people walking dogs around our area. if I had to guess it is because most of the yards in our area are too small to really accommodate for a pet. there are a lot of nice parks locally that you can take dogs to though. "
