1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have had great experiences at HPJH. They have an administrative staff they can depend on 100%. The school's tolerance to fights and nonsense is decreasing greatly. Consequences are followed through for bad behavior and awesome rewards are given for great behavior. The teachers truly care for the students academic well being. Parents need to follow rules when using the parking lot, but other than that... This school really cares for our children.Parent Review5y ago - Hazel Park High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor over a decade, 100% of schools in Hazel Park have been rated below average according to state data. Why is there no intervention from the state or change in central office and building leadership? Our students deserve better. The district is failing generations of students.Parent Review2y ago - Hoover Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are a school of choice family living in another county. My daughter has been going to Hoover since Kindergarten. She has done great at Hoover and has loved all her teachers. As a teacher in the district, I have to say that I have been very pleased to have my child at Hoover with some of the best teachers I've met in my years of teaching in the district. It helps that I work with my daughter at home and that she has excelled in her years thus far. I am pleased to recommend this school to any parent looking to get that personal touch from teacher to student.Parent Review9y ago - Check out schools near 44 E Coy Ave.

"I have lived in this neighborhood for almost 2 years now, I do love it here just I wish people were a bit more quiet and more lenient with everyone around them. Not everyone wants to smell you smoking pot and also not everyone wants to hear your loud music coming from your house. Just wish it was a quiet friendly neighborhood not a college rude family neighborhood "

"Hazel park is developing quickly as a trendy city. Work has started on John R. South of 10 mile to slim the road down to fewer lanes and increase walk-ability. We moved here from royal oak and really love the area. We’re excited to see home values increasing and new businesses come to town. "
