6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAGS is a wonderful middle school! The principals are amazing and really care about their students! I've had two kids so far as students at AGS, and both had a wonderful experience! Great teachers who challenged them, and also communicated well with the parents! Best middle school around!!! And you can see that by Mrs. C. being awarded Principal of the Year!!!Parent Review10y ago - North Road Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you have a student with any special education needs, please don’t send them to this school or this school system. You will save you and your child trauma, academic regression and much heartache. They will try to discipline the disability out of your child and engage in practices and beliefs that are not only non-neuroaffirming, but are straight up damaging.Parent Review3mo ago - Fenton Senior High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think FHS is a pretty good school. It's in a safe place and also has some of the best teachers. Like all schools, FHS has its flaws with a shortage of bus drivers and things like that but the free food is nice for low-income families and FHS also has a good education system and many students graduate at a high success rate. I think FHS could be considered pretty average in some categories but learning-wise and teaching wise it's a nice place with lots of good people.Student Review2mo ago - Check out schools near 3442 Cottage Cove Dr.

"The commute seemed to be a bit dangerous overall in my opinion. The houses seemed to need a ton of yard work. People did not maintain their yards in these neighborhoods. The neighborhoods seemed pretty grungy overall in this area."

"Too many stoplights In town. I have to hit 5 to 6 stoplights to drive 3 miles to the grocery store. Traffic in town is choked down by one way in and out of the downtown area. "

"I barely get out. My wife is disabled and my 5 year old son has autism. Going out usually means we are doing something physical. I also have a 3 year old son so because we don’t have a yard we go to playgrounds. I know there is a farmers market but we never go. Fenton has several community events: July 4th etc. "

"It’s not a bad commute to Ann Arbor, working as a night-time RN at Michigan Medicine. It takes me about 40 minutes. "

"My commute is like I reported earlier. Since you want the same information twice I will happily repeat myself. I get out on the road every weekday at 6am. The roads are quiet. Around 6:30 the traffic picks up. I don’t wait to leave for work that late for this very reason. I’d rather not drive 80 on the expressway. I’m happy to go 67 mph since my van drinks gas"

"Cars drive too fast in this area. I think that is true the world over now. People lack patience and diligence when driving. As a result there are more accidents, road rage, and deaths. I am a responsible member of society yet I am sure that I am hated for driving with courtesy and respectfully."

"I drive to Flint 6 days a week. Monday through Friday is pretty easy going. Traffic on Grange Hall is a cake walk as long as you are on the road before 6:30am. After that traffic really picks and it is hard to make a left onto the main road. Grange Hall is also known as Silver Lake. People have been driving more aggressively every year. I’m not sure how much longer civilization has. "
