Schools have been great and continue to update with the times from kindergarten through high school. Neighborhood schools still exist here. Truly the best location with easy access to area freeways, shopping in town and neighboring communities and all the action in downtown Detroit in only 25 minutes away. With all of the construction and congestion that happens each summer there is always another route in and around Farmington and Farmington Hills and you cannot say that about most of of the communities in Oakland and Wayne counties. We love living here and enjoying all of the community events for all ages, the parks, the shopping and the wide variety of restaurants all within the city limits. "
