10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLike, it, it's not bad, but it's also kinda bad. Some of the teachers can be quite churlish, but other teachers like Mr. Duggan or Mr. Vincelette are absolutely awesome. Could be better with a longer recess, because this school has less than the state average, but whatever, since when has anyone cared about giving students a break in YMS?Student Review5mo ago - Village Elementary School-York

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principle is horrible. It felt like she must not have any experience with little kids, and especially not with disabilities, but yet she’s actually had many years to hone her craft. If you can steer clear of this school, do it. If your child has any learning differences/mental/medical conditions requiring 504 or IEP, record everything and really pay attention. The ideas she brings to the table are more discipline oriented, even when the issue is a medical condition. How do you fix medical conditions with discipline/rewards? Just not good.Other Review5mo ago - Coastal Ridge Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTwo children went through this school. It was by far the best experience of any school ever., Administration, Principal Murphy, Librarians, Teachers, Counselors, Part time Staff, Lunch and Nutrition, Janitorial are all excellent and invested in your child’s well being and education. There is a vibe at the school and its like a hug from the second you arrive until your kid graduates. Love this school. It goes beyond academic learning, it lays foundations for your kid to have the tools for personal integrity , ownership of actions and kindness. The volunteerism and community support — amazing. Its one of those schools where parents want to take part and all welcome!Parent Review9mo ago - Check out schools near 9 Hiram St.

"This area is breathtaking! Reminds me much of Ireland! Long Sands Beach which is very close by, is great for families, singles, couples or even just a trip with friends. This property would be great for summer time because you can avoid parking issues along the beach. BUUUYYY ITTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"For Walkers, not a lot of sidewalks for a beach town, unless you are right on the beach. Too many people that drive 10 under the speed limit. There are also a lot of folks that think they own the whole town. Very nice safe place to raise a family. Desired school system. Very quaint and clean and of course some breath taking views......Also has a lot of nice wooded neighborhoods, even some near the beach. Shopping is expensive, gas is expensive, NH is 9 miles away so do you shopping there and gas up, of course most of the residents seem to have a lot of money so it doesnt matter. The town closes early, Hardware, restaurants (some open near the beach late) The town has zero Fast food joints, or coffee places, If you get some take out plan on spending a bit more than you would in most towns. All in all, Its a nice place to live, The negatives are really just my pet peaves and I believe I am in the minority as most folks want the day to come to an end. Most of the residents probably get up at 430 am and go to bed at 8p so it works well for them. For me, I live here because my family loves it and I just pay for it. I love the summers and that makes it all worth it. I know I sound a little back and forth, but when you pay good money to live in an area like this you just want it to have it all. "
