5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAmazing music and arts programs, especially for a middle school. Tons of great programs, clubs, and sports programs for all grades. Highly recommend it. My daughter is in 7th grade now and is thriving.Parent Review4y ago - Horace Mitchell Primary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe filed a federal complaint against this district for multiple violations against our son and family. The “leadership” and administration within this district is horrifying. No child or family should ever experience what we did. All of our complaints against the district were substantiated and they have been under federal investigation for the past 6 months. I refuse to allow this kind of behavior to continue.Parent Review3mo ago - Robert W Traip Academy

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 2 kids in the school 1 still enrolled and they all dislike it. Last year, they placed my youngest daughter on a no pass she could not even go to the bathroom very sad. She is now going online and is happier. My other kid has brought his car to the school all year went to the office to get a pass because he recently passed his drivers exam and was told to walk or take the bus...rude! How about good job in passing your exam?!Parent Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 9 Stimson St.

"Watch for traffic on a few streets but side streets are safe. Drivers seem careful in the residential sections "

"I've lived in Kittery for five years now, it's got a small yet vibrant downtown area and I can walk to town in about 20 minutes. I can walk to Walgreens, the post office, and the farmers market. A short drive and I'm on the highway in no time at all. Obviously every town has its quirks and Kittery is no exception, though it has a lot more pros than cons. With the beaches nearby and plenty of trails nearby, it's a wonderful place to call home. The only thing I wish it had more of is affordable housing. Even where I live now (the Village) I'm seeing a rise in prices; finding affordable rentals and housing is pretty much non existent or those properties are being sold to folks from out of state (which I don't have a problem with because Kittery is fairly inclusive) but I wish there were more options for those of us who love staying in the community without having to worry if we can keep affording the rising expenses. Overall, I would happily stay in this neighborhood and in this town. "

"There are not enough sidewalks to walk safely in Kittery. I understand the township is addressing that issue, but it will take awhile."
