1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt is apparent the teacher doesn’t care about our child. Despite several request, we have absolutely no clue what our child is doing on a month to month, week to week let alone day to day basis. Principal doesn’t believe in homework so parents are even more out of thr loop. Parents aren’t allowed in the school. No parent engagement (no PTO). I ask my child everyday what they learned in school that day, the response is always we learn about nature or the weather….never anything substantive. It’s no surprise the test scores are so low. The current school formula doesn’t work. Our child will NOT be returning to Arrowhead Elementary school next year.Parent Review1mo ago - Largo High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is not for the weak of heart, extremely rowdy, and off the chain. I hear from my child that it can be nice and laid back, but then immediately turn into a prison. Dont send your child here if you care for their mental health. Drugs are rampant, fights are constant, and after these past few months, Largo Highschool seems like another lost cause like it did in the 00'sParent Review1mo ago - Kettering Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePlease avoid sending your child to this school at all costs. I sent my daughter to this school and withdrew her not even 6 months later. I found that this school is an abomination and should be shut down and thoroughly checked. The building is rusty and disgusting, the teachers do not to their jobs at all and let the students run rampant, then because they do not teach the children, the give the children tests and get an attitude when they do not know. A rat has unfortunately ran into me when I was picking my child up for early departure, and my daughter got food poisoning once from the food that they serve. So for physical and mental health for you children, I strongly disagree on sending your child here.Parent Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 10709 Birdie Ln.

"It’s quite small and centered between route 210, Waldorf, and National Harbor. Most living here are families with good jobs. Also it has become an area with steady growth in the surrounding commercial zoning locations due to the increase in residential property development. It’s a budding location with a lot of potential to offer its current and future residents."

"NoMa Bid has been creating a huge sense of community in Eckington and NoMa. For one they keep the area so clean and you always see their workers sweeping the sidewalks, changing trashing, maintenance at the dog park. And then there’s the events, most at the A.T. Park and the MBTrail. Movie in the park, farmers market, holiday events like pumpkin patch/contest, and of course the mural walls festival. The trail and park have beautiful murals everywhere and each year local artist renew most of them. (NoMa in Color). Also the dog parks is a big vibe in the area, Eckington Dog Park is the best in the city, but there are 4 in the area. Also, Bouldering Project is a cool bouldering and fitness gym. Theres tons of grocery, restaurants, bars and beer gardens, etc. it’s surround by Union Market, Brookland, Shaw, H Street… all connect my the MBT (bike/walk trail) and NoMa/Gallaudet Metro Station (subway).
