"I live here in the heart of Towson and life is grand. The best shopping in the Baltimore Metro Area is had at Towson Town Center Mall. Eating is good in Towson for budget fast food and fine dining at the many Towson Eatery's. Many places deliver to your home in the Towson area so you never need to cook unless you want to. Towson's closeness to Baltimore City and its wealth of urban poor does raise the crime level a bit. Taking common sense safety measures reduce your likelihood of adverse contact with Baltimore City thug life. For single people and old older folk a nice condo in a good qaulity building in or near Towson Town Center offers a carefree lifestyle with the minimum of headaches. I am an older single man and I plan to stay active long as I can. Towson's walkability is superior to most other places nearby at a price no one can touch. Towson is in the very early stages of slowly becoming like Bethesda, MD without the traffuc jams and overpopulation. New apartments and condos are almost constantly being built. Towson is a college town so there is always young people about. There are thriving night spots and coffee houses abound. If you can't find something fun to do in Towson I'd suggest seeing a qualified psychiatrist because fun is all around you!"

"I live close by and am delighted that I could walk to the bank, CVS pharmacy and Safeway grocery store. star bucks and the mall are only 1/2 mile away. Towson has "Feet on the street" in the summer with live entertainment. People stroll by or stop and enjoy the music. I love the fresh breads, fruit, and veggies in the weekly Farmers' market. they close the street so the vendors can set up shop."
