10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWith this incredibly bizarre year, my daughter thrived in SLES. I cannot say enough good things about her teacher Ms Madeline Laux. We hit a jackpot with just how loving she was towards all the children and got them to learn all that they had do with limited facetime. We are so blessed to be a part of the SLES family. I don't think words will ever match up to the amount of respect I have for anybody working there. From the bottom of my heart.. THANK YOUParent Review2y ago - Winston Churchill High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageChurchill high school is the best public high school in Maryland. It provides its students with extensive resources. The teachers are extremely intelligent, experienced and truly care that their students learn the subjects they teach. The teachers and administration is very responsive and caring. The students get along with each other and for the most part are kind and focused on learning and doing well in school. A large number of AP classes are offered in almost every subject. My daughter did extremely well, got into a top ten university and is attending that university. Churchill prepared her very well for the challenges and rigors of the top university and she is doing very well there. With Churchill you get a world class education that will prepare your child to get into and do well in a top university and beyond (without having to pay a couple of hundred thousand dollars for a private school education)!!Parent Review11mo ago - Cabin John Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are good, but it is a rigorous and a competitive environment. It is not easy to fit in if you are new. There is limited assistance if the student is experiencing social challenges. Unfortunately I have found the counselor unhelpful in resolving any issues. We moved to the area for this school and it has been disappointing so far.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 8156 E Buckspark Ln.

"My family lived at 511 Crabb Ave. They bought it the summer of 1954. It was 2 beds with one bath. We had a lot of fun with all the kids on our street. There was a neighborhood elementary school, Maryvale, we walked 2 blocks to the school and in good weather walked home for lunch. I attended Richard Montgomery High School. The metro did not exist at that time. "

"Fallsgrove is a nice area to live, if you live in the townhomes. The apartments are more targeted towards young professionals than families. Overall great area. Thomas Farm community center has awesome summer camps for young kids and middle schoolers in non Covid era. Older kids play basketball and other team sports. Park is ok. "

"This neighborhood is definitely a very dog friendly place! While I don’t personally have a dog, I see at least 20 dogs go by outside my window every day walking down to Welsh Park. There is a large open field where dogs can run around so many people bring them there. It is also just a neighborhood where a lot of people walk around because there are paths and things like that in Welsh Park as well. "
