6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDon't come to this school. The kids run and play everyday. There are no consequences for foul language or disrespectful behavior. The admin sit on their hands and hope problems will just go away. if you are a teacher looking for a job, don't apply here. It's terrible. They will find ways to shift blame unto you instead of disciplining students. We have people in leadership positions who receive 6 figure salaries. It's all a waste of tax payer money.Parent Review3mo ago - Meadow Hall Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school teachers use an app called ClassDoJo in order to communicate with parents. The MH PTA is very strong and supportive. Bus drivers are always on time, and breakfast is for free no matter the income. Lunch is $2.55 with no Gov support etc., which is very inexpensive, teacher/student ratio is very low as well. No complaints on my end.Parent Review4mo ago - Rockville High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a parent that has had both a daughter and son graduate from RHS. Our experience was an excellent one. Both our kids were in the IB program and got a tremendous high school education. My son also was in the project lead-the-way engineering program. Our daughter went to Maryland and graduated Phi Beta Kappa, with a 3.9 gpa and she told me repeatedly that RHS instruction was better and the classes harder than what she often encountered in college. My son got accepted to UCLA's elite engineering program and is a sophomore doing very well after one year. The social culture is very inclusive at RHS. The kids seem to really enjoy the diversity. The homecoming queen and king are never the good looking kids but rather the nice people everyone likes and looks up to. Very refreshing.Except for maybe basketball, if a kid tries out for a school team, they're on the team. The amount they play may be limited at first, but they'll get to participate and make the friends and connections being on their school team provides. Both my kids were on multiple school teams. The school spirit is through the roof. The quality of the counselling staff and help for special needs kids are first rate.In the neighborhood we live in, a lot of parents sent their kids to private schools, like Good Council. Perhaps they were somehow turned off by the diversity at RHS, if you know what I mean. I could tell that their kids didn't get either the quality education or social experiences my kids got, plus its free to send you kid to public school. We have a very good high school available to us at RHS. Take advantage of it.Parent Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 203 Bradley Ave.

"I've been on my home for 32 years. Love the diversity and the size of the homes. No McMansions. My neighbors are friendly and I try to get to know them. my lot is quite deep and at the bottom is the park/bike path. The changes I've seen over the years is fascinating. One of the only places left in Moco where you can get a house for less than 300.000$. "

"I have lived and worked in the area for about 19 years. There is a wide variety of businesses in the area. This ranges from the big box stores to the small local stores and restaurants. Examples are going to "Granger" for machining tooling or "Bed Bath and Beyond" for kitchen items. There are thrift stores and also different ethnic stores. Examples are Russian, Cuban, Mexican, etc. There are the parks and nature centers that are free and good to take the children. Specialty stores also exist for spices, fans, appliances, gun range, etc. You can drive around and not have to feed the meter in most places. The bus, metro, and train are also options if needed. There are several people that walk there dogs in the area."
