School admins are very engaging and helpful. Ashburton has one of the best PTAs in the DMV region with tons of programs throughout the year and which offers amazing volunteering opportunities. Last but not least the school building is recently renovated and its facilities are updated to the best standards. They do have a dress code, but don't enforce it, so what is the point of having it. Some students can be very disrespectful to teachers and their peers. They talk back when they don't like something, they talk bad about other people, and they think it is funny to prank or do their little dirty tricks on people. And sometimes the teachers don't even do anything about it. The school/teachers let the students say bad words. Ok to be fair, teachers are nice, but that does not make up for the other parts. If you are thinking about going to this school, I 100% do not recommend you to go to this school.Student Review9mo ago

"My family lived at 511 Crabb Ave. They bought it the summer of 1954. It was 2 beds with one bath. We had a lot of fun with all the kids on our street. There was a neighborhood elementary school, Maryvale, we walked 2 blocks to the school and in good weather walked home for lunch. I attended Richard Montgomery High School. The metro did not exist at that time. "

"Fallsgrove is a nice area to live, if you live in the townhomes. The apartments are more targeted towards young professionals than families. Overall great area. Thomas Farm community center has awesome summer camps for young kids and middle schoolers in non Covid era. Older kids play basketball and other team sports. Park is ok. "

"This neighborhood is definitely a very dog friendly place! While I don’t personally have a dog, I see at least 20 dogs go by outside my window every day walking down to Welsh Park. There is a large open field where dogs can run around so many people bring them there. It is also just a neighborhood where a lot of people walk around because there are paths and things like that in Welsh Park as well. "
