5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a disgrace I couldn’t even put my daughter in there for 2 days without being bullied and the teachers did NOTHING. She reported the bullying to the counselor multiple times all the counselor said “I’ll report this to the head principal”. I explained to them kindly that if nothing was done about this that I will be going to the Board of Education. Nothing I said would help my daughter she would go to school and come back DIRTY. She told me that she went to the counselor to show the messages that were shared with her, which were threats. And the counselor said she cannot deal with internet drama. That’s when I instantly popped off because my daughter should be able to go to school safely. This is honestly so sad the teachers don’t attempt to do anything about the situation. They put my daughter in the same class as the bullies I even had to leave my job because they put their hands on her. In conclusion, if you have enough money to send your child to a private school I would recommend. THIS SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE.Parent Review1mo ago - George Washington Carver Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, GWCES has come a long way from what it used to be. Administration has changed & staff has shifted. Students cannot learn until their basic needs are taken care of and many do not have full support before coming to school. Of course there will be challenges, it is expected, but the staff do try to meet those needs and build learning upon that. You cannot penalize a school because the Board of Education has crazy policies, that is a county issue. That is not the teachers or admins fault. I have no qualms about my child attending this school - he has loved it.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 45822 Wolftrap Way.
