What Locals Say about Hagerstown

  • Trulia User
"Hagerstown has a lot to offer as far as community events. If you look on the Hagerstown City webpage, you can look at community events. You may also prefer to follow on facebook for neighboring events. I have not lived there in that particular neighborhood for several years but, I do know people who still do reside there. "

"Lots of people have dogs so I don’t feel bad walking my dog or if he barks. Everyone picks up after their dogs usually and there’s plenty of places to walk your dog. Also a big park near by for running with your dog. Every dog I have met has been friendly and so are their owners. I wish there was a fenced dog area in the neighborhood but there isn’t. Closest one is a few miles away. "

"this neighborhood needs a lot of change and it could be a great neighborhood if the police would be more involved with trying to get rid of some of the crime they needed help to homeless but other than that they are revitalizing certain parts of the downtown area it is starting to come to a Full Circle but the circle is so very very very very slow in the city council needs to start opening up their eyes and stop thinking of old ways of doing things and start looking at the new ways to bring you more vitalization to the town of Hagerstown"

We have lost most downtown businesses. You can't leave your home without a average of 3 people asking you for either money or cigarettes."
