9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur son graduated from QO last year, and our daughters attend currently, grades 12th and 9th. We absolutely love this school. The principal is amazing; so engaged with all student activities, creating an inclusive and dynamic environment for all. There is something for everyone here, with awesome sports, fantastic academic opportunities and all types of clubs available. The student population is diverse both racially and economically, which fosters acceptance and awareness. Communication from the school/county is fantastic. Sure, some issues arise now and again with poor student behavior or fights, but problems are immediately addressed and resolutions communicated to the parent and student populations. We moved back to Montgomery County several years ago, looking for a more diverse, progressive and inclusive community for our family and QO has given us exactly what we hoped for; I can't say enough good about this amazing local high school. Here's why:Homework: 4/5 The teachers always gave us a decent amount of homework, I sometimes felt overwhelmed by it but it's nothing too crazy.Teachers: 4/5 Also pretty decent, some had great personalities some were mean. Still not too badLeadership: 3/5 I don't really know much about this, I don't feel like they put enough effort into this section of school.Character: 5/5 Pretty good this spread the message pretty well and the staff is always reminding you in the hallways. Don't worry it's not that annoyingLearning Differences: 4/5 From what I've seen my school does pretty well and really tries to help students with learning differences.
