9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen my daughter, who has only received A's since 2nd grade, asked if she could work ahead in math she was told that "She would run out of things to learn" if they allowed her to work ahead. People pay a huge premium to live in Middletown, and this school system has been ruined by No Child Left Behind. They spend at least 50% of their time focused on the PARC testing, which has no benefit to the students at all. It's all about chasing that federal money in the Middletown schools.Parent Review7y ago - Middletown High School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI also moved my daughter from a 'great' private school to MPS, and was amazed at the skills required of her. I think her teacher has been supportive and fair-Mrs. Wheeler challenges the children but gives them the tools needed to accomplish the assigned tasks. The PTA is very organized, creative, and supportive. I am very happy with this school.Parent Review14y ago - Check out schools near 5509 Jefferson Blvd.

"Neighborhood is very dog friendly. People are constantly walking dogs of all sizes and breeds. We have a 100 pound Rottweiler and have no issues walking her in the neighborhood. Everyone is good about adhering to the leash laws. For the most part, people are good about cleaning up after their dog."

"That people respect each other spaces on the sidewalks, but there is a problem with picking up at the pets. Even though there are receptacles with bags and then hang on waste area for them to put them in, so no need to be lazy."
