3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went to Pre-K and is now in Kindergarten this year. The staff/teachers are absolutely amazing. You can feel the energy they have and passion for what they do there. The direct communication from the teachers is amazing. We receive texts at least weekly and sometimes on a daily basis highlighting different activities my son is engaged with. I feel like we get a glimpse into his world of learning. I feel as a parent they not only care about the student but the student's family as well. My son thrives in the environment that is created there. The other amazing thing is it's not just the classroom teacher that knows my son but whole staff knows him by name and engages with him. We experienced this during the open house where multiple school staff remembered him by name, chatted with him about his summer, and got him excited about coming back to school.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 1865 Grempler Way.

"There IS public transportation, but I've never used it. The bus does come to the back corner of the neighborhood, but im from Baltimore... so public transportation out here is 300% different than what I'm used to. But I drive so I've never never dealt with Harford Co trans. personally..."

"I’ve lived in this area for the past 20+ years near Flying Point Park and it is a really nice part of Edgewood to raise children and it’s a pretty quiet and close knit community. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to move in the area to look into Harbor Oaks, Lord Willoughby’s Rest, Otter Creek Landing, or Forest Oaks!"

"Good schools and events for kids via scooby doo and other programs. Many local agencies available to assist if you reach out for the help. Many friendly services. Community Yard Sales. A lot of kids but not saturated. Much available to balance any new family. "

"Renting in the nicer area of Edgewood is much more pricey for the little extra space you get. I wish there were more 4 bedroom 2 bathroom houses in the area but there aren’t many at all. There are some gang related activities going on in Edgewood all together not many playgrounds for little children or swimming pools."

"The neighborhoods are often trashy, so you have to be careful of what your pets get into. I’ve had trash thrown over my fence. "

"The majority of my neighbours are wonderful, of course there are a few who leave little to be desired. I'm not happy with the mobile home park I live in but that's because of the new owners. It's become way too expensive to live here so I'm afraid to say that I'm looking for a new place to live. "
