5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageArbutus middle is trash, I’m pulling my kids out and we’re gonna literally have to move because everyday a child in this school is physically injured. Whether it’s mine or yours, these people who are so post to be protecting our children, have completely failed us. This school is below trash.Parent Review6mo ago - Catonsville High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my child's first year here. There appears to be a lack of effort towards acknowledging and making strides to improve diversity and the stigma of bias engulfing the school environment. There are some select teachers that truly go above and beyond however overall instructors don't seem motivated to improve the development of all children equally. This shows in the classroom and throughout extra-curricular programs. I really was excited to give my child a unique opportunity like I had growing up but this institution doesn't seem to be able to provide it without bias. The school does have a lot of special school programs available and fellow students seem to be welcoming. This feedback was also shared by past students I met who attended here prior to my child attending.Parent Review1y ago - Hillcrest Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have both had a wonderful experience at Hillcrest with teachers, school counselors and administrators who truly care and want your children to succeed. There have been a few issues in the past with administration, but that has been resolved. The new principal is amazing and truly believes in ensuring a great educational experience for every child. I would recommend this school to everyone.Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 13 Melvin Ave.

"it's low income housing which I'm moving soon , but it's not unique at all it's the struggle low poverty area they try to maintain it but if u ask me I think everyone here should be directed elsewhere where and be forced to work and be self sufficient the people here are carefree have no real means to do better outside of myself. I do not recommend this area to no one and the violence has escalated "
