A wonderful home for those looking for a true neighborhood setting. Well built, nicely maintained, with many updates. The open living/dining/kitchen area is light and bright, the living room features shining hardwood floor and bay window. A cherry topped peninsula separates the spaces. A three season room connecting carport and kitchen could easily be incorporated into the open living area. One of the first floor bedrooms has been used as a dining room. The two upstairs bedrooms feature cool angles, real pine panelling and built-ins. The systems are updated and in good shape. The yard is completely fenced, with a stone walled garden area and wide open lawn space. The landscape incorporates lovely plantings of flowering shrubs and grasses. One of those houses that you can move into and enjoy as is, or expand upon. Within minutes of this house are Look Park, downtown Florence, Fitzgerald Lake conservation area, playing fields, with easy access to downtown Northampton or I-91.

"Lots of trick or treating at Halloween. There are not a lot of formal community events in our little neighborhood. But it feels neighborly, people say hi to each other., it feels safe, etc. Our downtown has lots of fun community events - Art Night Out once a month, a Jazz Festivsl, fun parades, community walks, many annual events. It’s fun! "

"I have a wife and an eleven year old son. We have been living in the area for four months and we all feel more at home here that any other place we have lived. Northampton has all the good aspects of a large city and a small city. We feel safer than where we lived in the south, and we are close to great restaurants, galleries, shops, bars, music venues, etc. As for Harrison Avenue; we think it is the best street in town!"
